This developed all along the blossom end of my pumpkin below the layer of sand that was pushed up as the pumpkin grew forward. The bumps are totally dry as far as I can tell. Has anyone seen this before- is it a sign of rot at the bottom of the pumpkin or maybe just scabbing from the abrasive sand??? thanks
