We had a good meeting at the Dyberry Patch.. our newbie CK was there to soak up any information he could. Andy and I told him that if he really wanted to be a good pumpkin grower that an old Indian tradition was to pull a yellow jacket nest down and smash them in your bare hand and sprinkle the dust over the pumpkin plant...I couldn't believe it.. you can tell these new growers anything and they will believe you. People will try anything to grow a big one.
