1161 at day 40 today and is 120-91-81 = 292 OTT or roughly 557 lbs.
After a feverish run of dialy gains nearing the mid 30's it appears that the growth curve may be on its way down. I have consulted my go-to mentor regarding normal growth curves and daily gains for our area in order to wrap my head around what might be in this pumpkin's future.
After a posting regarding % gains and % heavy, I was looking at my last years numbers and see that at day 40 our eventual 898 Dixon was a mere 265 lbs. That was alot of growth from day 40 to day 90, however was nothing like the daily gains that I've seen on this pumpkin so far.
Weather is good, plant is healthy, attitude is good...all systems appear to be still on go!!
