Today I started clearing the patch of the 1304 (R.I.P) and got re-acquainted with my hoe. I took 8 soil samples from within the first 12'x 15' area and have left the sample to dry. It will be my first soil test so I'm eager to see what its like. I'm on holdiday for a week and will crack on with patch prep when I get back and will complete it with a mid september sowing of rye for a beautiful patch next year. Time to do things propertly for 2013.
