I found the reason I lost my 1381 yesterday. For the first time I saw some yellowing leaves near the pumpkin on the main. That's the telltale sign of pythium for me. So my fault for not controlling disease. DARN. This is one of the most beautiful pumpkins I've ever cut open. It was nearly identical thickness everywhere.
We found 14 SVB's in the plant while removing....LOL....that can't be good for my remaining 3 plants!
