I been having a really hard time getting one to take on 1161 due to heat. I cut one off that was at about 10 ft, maybe I should have kept it. I have 2 that I pollinated this past week and I went out to take some pictures and bent over and camera fell out of my pocket and banged softball size pumpkin and sheared off blossom end flush with kin. I was told to leave it and it should be ok. 2nd one is still on and looks like it could take over. oh well
