And, in the better late than never category...we just pollinated our 1566 Rodonis x 1161 Rodonis.
I was hoping to pollinate the reverse cross as well (1161 x 1566) but the 1566 plant has been several weeks behind the other 2 plants.
Full steam ahead with the current pumpkins on the 1725 Harp plant and 1161 Rodonis. Closing in on day 20 for both of them so the "backup" or "oh crap" side vine pumpkins are slowly being removed as we settle in for an all in affair...better hold on tight for the ride...this 1725 pumpkin is showing all the signs of being the real deal!!
