I have lost lots of backup fruit to aborts due to the high heat. We finally are getting some much needed rain here in Northeast PA.. lets hope they kick the fruit into high gear.. It has been a lot of hard work and maybe now it will start to slow down with time to kick back and watch these pumpkins grow.. We have a new grower here in NE PA that Andy and I have taken under our wing. He seems to be a slow learner so it may take several meetings at Dyberry for some of it to sink in. Andy did til his garden (his front yard) when he was out of town.. and we put some of our backup plants in there...(when he wasn't looking).. OH well.. he may appear to be dazed.. but he says he is excited at the new hobby thrown on him... good luck CK. Lets get one to a weigh off.
