I spent a some time at the Dyberry patch guys place to give him a hand putting some sand and fabric under his chosen fruit.. what fun it is to have a brew and talk pumpkins. For the first time in maybe ever Andy and I have the some of the same plants growing. We each have a
* 1177 Haist; a 1662 Stelts and a 1674 MARSH. We have offered a personal challenge.. add the total weights of our 3 best fruit and see who wins... Loser has to buy the winner a beer. What a ride it will be. It looks like Drew has a good one going on his 1674. Its not as big as some of the other PA growers pics by the looks of things.. but its a marathon and not a sprint.
