With the Dyberry Patch guy being busy with jr.s baseball at the moment, Rocky still trying to join the Bassmasters tournament, Orange with Envy... taking the year off or going for the Sandbagger award..it has been quiet in the garden. There is no one to compete against. Those other Pa growers are to nice.. Scottie and Upper Pine Runner are doing there own thing.. I guess thats why my patch is looking better as I have put more time into growing. Hopefully this is the year I can pull some monster out of the patch.. even the wife said if I didn't start spending more time with her she was going.... as the country song goes.... I'm gonna miss her. Hoping 2012 is a good year. My one companion who never lets me down is the patch dog Geordie. Here he is guarding a couple of Giant Maters that I put in the center of patch. The seeds were from Larry Checkons 4.35 pounder. I don't know if it has a name or not, I better check with Mud. The Checkonater??
