Wayyyyy behind on any diary entries so I best post something so I can compare as a future reference. Its that not real exciting time of year just hoping the pollinations are taking and trying to keep the plants growing to put some fuel behind the pumpkins. The weather although warm here in Northeastern PA is pumpkin friendly. Its been dry but at least we can water to correct. Much better than the cool monsoons we had last year. As always I managed to kill with kindness some of the early seed choices that I intended to grow. Sorry Larry.. your seed didn't make it :( maybe next year. As usual some of my backups are getting their chance. I also had several plants get twisted again with the wind in their early stages and split the main vines.. not good. It sets them back quite a bit. This is the 1662 Stelts at my moms house with the split near the stump. These plants are amazing and it has healed itself but set it back a couple of weeks.
