Well, its that time of the season again. We had to do surgery on the 1164 fruit for the second time today. The soft rot on the stem had not stopped and was progressing, so another cleaning, bleaching, drying and sulphur was in order. It took tissue from the stem that i,d rather not loose. A little de-motivating when you have a massive plant ready to feed a fruit. But the plant has issues to. Two spots near the stump have been operated on just like the stem of the fruit. This rot thing is yearly for us now, and its about time we start scouting for new patch location. For now, we will hang in there and see what we can do, what ever happens, happens. :)
