1674 Connolly. Pollinated on the first day the temps are forecasted to be in the mid to upper 90's here in New England. So, under the leaves and under a plastic table you will see the newly pollinated female hiding and leaning on a styrofoam cooler full of ice. I filled the cooler with ice and cut a 1 inch notch in the side at the level of the blossom base. Hopefully, that will keep the blossom several degrees lower than the ambient temp.
