My son Cole pollinated his 1023 Steil this AM with males from the 991 Urena. This one was just over 12ft and his plant has the least hail damage of all of them. I also pollinated the 991 Urena at 13 ft which has been a strong grower despite the bad hail damage. We are waiting on all the other plants to grow some new leaves back before we pollinate but the storms and rain every day aren't helping matters. The biggest issue we are having is the we lost a lot of secondaries to the hail on most of the plants and the main is growing way to fast now.
If you look over Coles back you can see the damaged plant behind Cole.
