June the 13th and we had over 5 inches of rain sofar this month. An above average wet year since 5 is the average for june. May we had 6 inches,,3 inches above average. And that results in this: A young melon leaf with the tell tale yellow patches of downey mildew. We got wiped out melon wise last year in no time,,we had a tuff time diagnosing it. This year we came prepared and cought it in its very early stages. Copper, dithane and daconil are gonna be used to fight this specific fungi. And hopefully the weather gods will play along to.

If anyone wishes to donated some ridomil gold bravo, then that would be great, lol. It doesnt fit in the budget here for now. So we will fight with our broad spectrum weapons.

fingers crossed.
