Found Huge larves in my patches. I first thought they were Melolontha melolontha ( hanneton commun) but in fact they are Cetonia aurata (LA CÉTOINE DORÉE).
Max size said is 50mm. The biggest of the 3 is 65mm, 20mm wide and weighs 13gr !
They don't eat roots but they help the compost action.
