The first week of patch prep is by me and still a few more things to do. Every year I whine around this time because I planted winter rye. Even after a nice roto-till this stuff keeps re-rooting. I am guessing it will be close to june by the time the patch looks good. But I know it gives the patch an extra boost of green nitrogen every spring. Almost all of the plants have germed except for the 603 which really bums me out. It is a 9 year old seed but my fingers are still crossed that something happens this week. The hoop on the right will house the 777 Young and the hoop on the left will have the 1103 Young.
