Getting the planting hole for the 1807 Stelts 2011 ready for transplanting. I'm definitely doing things alot better this year and I am much earlier in getting a plant in the soil, thanks to a much improved germination technique and some practice to get seeds to break soil in 96 hours or less. That germination box was well worth the time and effort....
I placed an empty 2 gallon container to get the angle correct, so when I put the plant in place, I'll already have the angle I need to help the main vine lay down a little easier. I don't know where the idea originally came from, but I will credit J.D. Megchelsen aka "J.D." from who gave me the inspiration from his 2011 diary. Thanks J.D.!
