The 1053 Pugh is filed and soaking. I have prepared my 1 gallon pot by cutting the bottom off, inverting it and wrapping the wide end in plastic secured with a rubber band. It is filled with Miracle Grow Potting soil and heating up in my oven. Yesterday the last of the amendments were spread. Sunday I will rototill. There is a kildeer nest with 3 eggs in it right in the middle of my patch. I will till around the nest and do my best to not disturb the birds during the month-long egg incubation time. I have new, bigger greenhouse film that I bought this week, and will cut it into 32 x 20' pieces today and place an order at the lumber store for the supplies to build bigger cloches. Next week I will build the Puyallup Fair Pumpkin Palace. Game on!
