Ladies and Gentlemen......This is why I call myself "Northwest Rain".... 3 1/2 inches of rain on the way. I just never seems to end. I'm glad it doesn't rain here that much in the summer, so I have to consider myself lucky for that! I can control the water and not have to worry about a sudden deluge of rain and hail from a thunderstorm ending the season..... causing a blossom end split, a bad foamer or worse hail destroying a plant.
The weather here in the spring can be depressing for a grower anxious to get started. Mother Nature give you cold rainy gray days, and just for kicks, she gives you a tease by throwing in a sunny 65 degree day. That's ok though....I don't plan of beating her at her game....I'll just try to outsmart her a bit!
