Dug in the grazing rye on patch one today...what a work out. Not too sure if I dug in too early or too late but we'll see, simply turned over to a depth of 1 foot and will do again in a month when I add some ammendments. I covered the patch with black plastic so that should speed things along a bit.
Still to do: dig the last 100 sq feet of patch 2 and 200 sq feet of patch 3 and dig in manure then ammend in a month. Patch 4 will be done last minute as per in my first year
