here is an over view of the vine, i climbed up a ladder to take this pic.there are 2 red arrows, these are the 2 pumpkins.
the top arrow is the kin that is feed only from the stump and is slightly bigger.
the other kin has most of the vine to feed it if the stump does fail. the glass if over the stump and the hole in the vine and is nice and dry.
the gap in the middle is where the main vine runs and i have removed all the leaves there to keep the sun on the main..... i have no shortage of foliage.
spent 1 and 1/2 hours today spraying the vine, there is PM starting to show, we also had several days of rain and thunder.
tomorrow i will spread another kilo of fert.
i and using tomato fert 4-5-8, sulfur, calcium, mag at this stage, as well as foliar. and will start to slowly boost the K soon.
