several days on here is a photo of the big hole in the main vine. i covered the wounds with a product called "seal and heal" it is used to protect branch removal on large trees.
so far it has worked. and the vine is still growing bigger.
this product is like a silicon glue but for plants.
since putting this on and spraying into the hole every few days, there are no more bugs and even though the picture doesnt look promising, it actually looks pretty good in real life..... how long that lasts time will tell.
there is however fresh growth on the inside which the picture just couldnt pick up.
