In Don Langavins book, How to Grow World Class Giant Pumpkins Vol. III.....There is perhaps one of my favorite quotes, that a good giant pumpkin grower has to have "balls of stone."

I tried this seed starting method and I'm not sure that I have 'em like that with seed. I did test the method and started a couple like that last night at 7pm and now at 26 hours later.....wow.....they germinated!
