here's a close up of the stump. it is under a roof and is encased in chicken mesh... to stop the chickens etc.
the main vine is heading off in the direction of the arrow.
the second vine has the split. will keep an eye on it to make sure it doesnt get worse... but with the roof over should be ok.
in real life it all looks ok, in the photos it looks like a big mess.
