Last year, we didn't even move into our current house till December. I didn't build the patch till March, and my soil I started with was pretty low in nutrients across the board.

I'm happy to be way ahead of last years pace and added 2 yards of manure\compost and 6 inches of Maple and Sweetgum leaves to increase the organic matter.
