Sandy's weight of 1,136 pounds was good enough to take 2nd place in the competition! My first 1,100 pounder and my first GPC ribbon, needless to say I was psyched. And the cherry on top is that Sandy is now going to be on display at JG Domestic, a Philadelphia restaurant owned by Iron Chef Jose Garces. She will be there starting this Saturday. The restaurant is on the ground floor of the Cira Center, so Sandy might be the first giant pumpkin ever to be inside a skyscraper! Well, in Philadelphia anyway.
