Day 70 on the 1421 Stelts and finally taping just over 1000 lbs.
I just calculated that we had rain on 87 of the last 90 days. Long term forecasts predict rain for the next two weeks.
After a lot of planning and work this year, it looks like I will have nothing worthwhile to show. All of the outside crops are lost or severely stunted due to drowning.
Some of my growing colleagues in Holland are in even worse shape, so the weigh-off on October 1 certainly won't be as spectacular as last year.
