Just wanted to give an update from mudville. Didn't take the camera to the patch last night due to the constant threat of downpours from hell. We are approaching 7 more inches of rain this week, which puts us over 22 inches since August 3rd. That is not a typo. I have never seen anything like this - I'm not sure anyone around here ever has. I'm pretty sure Sandy is my only pumpkin still growing, although Kitty and Mary are holding solid. Sandy is now estimating over 1,000, my first ever, but like my others she is sitting in water right now. There is a frog living under the side of Kitty, and I saw an earthworm climbing the side of Sandy last night to try to avoid drowning. It won't be long before there are fish in the patch...............
