Rosie has finally stopped growing at an estimated 813 lbs. There is a soft spot emerging right at the blossom area that goes through to the cavity. The last time I detected any growth was actually August 23rd, so she has held up amazingly well for a long time with the blossom-end split. After much thought, I decided I will save the seeds from her because the split may or may not be genetic. With her awesome color and the pollinator being the 1142 Vankooten, it's a seed I just might want to grow next year.
