It's about time for a post hurricane update. Actually, Irene gave us tropical storm force winds for most of the day last Sunday, which tore the cover off of the domes. We got at least 6.5 inches of rain, not sure exactly because the rain gauge overflowed during Saturday night. All the plants' older leaves got beat up quite a bit, but they have a good amount of young foliage too that stood up well to the wind. Here is Sandy this morning, I last took a measurement on Thursday which was day 60 for her. Circumference was 157 inches, OTT was 360.5 inches. Estimated weight of 982 lbs., still growing about 7 lbs. per day since the storm.
