Well, the giant pumpkin dome is as ready as it can be. I have six ropes criss-crossing diagonally over the top of the dome to try to keep it in place. One more at each end to keep the ends from flapping around too much. The fan is covered and I'll keep it blowing on Kitty's stem for the duration of the storm. My patch is well-drained and at the top of the hill so no matter how much rain we get the excess water will be gone by Monday. Good luck to everyone else out there!
