I think Rosie might have split partly because she started growing faster again. Day 39 yesterday - 135.5 inch circumference, OTT of 315 inches. Estimated weight of 659 lbs., she gained 62 lbs. in the last 3 days. Rosie is now disqualified from any competitions but she might still grow more, so I plugged up the split and will treat her like any of my other pumpkins until she stops growing. You never know what might happen next...........
