I couldn't wait until day 30.
I look at the darn things everyday anyway, so the growth is hard to notice....might as well tape'em. Three melons gained between 4-5 pounds per day for 5 days. This is with 2 or 3 melons per plant and I am just measuring the oldest and biggest.
