Well here it is, my first official foaming stump. This was caused by a lot of heat and humidity, then 1.7 inches of rain yesterday. The water pressure inside the plant last night basically caused the stump to blow a gasket. It looked worse this morning when I first discovered it, but today was finally less humid so that should help a lot in clearing it up. I scraped away the foam and it didn't look bad under there, so I just cut a little hole around the affected area, peroxided it and brought the ol' fan over. This is on Rosie's plant, which is easily the biggest stump of all my plants.
