Ok I mentioned this diary was going to be for a specific plant BUT I ran into something I have seen many times before but never to this extreme...so these 2 following pictures are of a surrounding area near our state fair plant. I was out doing some tilling around the last remaining areas that the late fall plants have yet to fill up and I have some leaf bags in the area. Well when i moved the first bag I found this. Yes I was shocked to see roots this far from the side vines of the state fair plant...But there is no mistaking an atlantic Giant pumpkin root...
