One of the three swedes I have going - it is already larger than any I have grown in recent years. My cantaloupe plants drowned so are out of the race. The long carrots and beetroot seem to be doing ok. The runner beans are right on schedule. The 135 Jacobus LG inside is almost ready to pollinate (way too early). Outside the Lyons and Offermann LGs are doing ok though the Offermann is a bit behind schedule. Giant carrots and parsnips seem to be doing better than last year. Sunflowers are no good this year. Too cold. Potatoes struggling along - nothing special yet. Peppers are off and running - time will tell. Tomatoes are doing about average. Leek is miles behind because of a late planting but still alive and even healthy.
