980 Klinker now has a main vine and is due to be headed in the right direction by mid-week! 740 Washer is at 10 plus feet, first female at 6.5 ft was deformed, another is developing and hoping for a viable pollination. 759 Jensen is at 6 ft and doing nicely! 1036 Slone has three main vines! There is one that I selected early on and two others that are very strong vines. I'll train them as mains till I see what developes. Since I'm short on plants I have room to be a bit more selective! Late set added to the patch is the 1110 Krause. It's at three leaves and looking good!
Dog show season tacks a pause for a few weeks and pumpkins can receive a little more attention for this critical time! Happy Pollinating!
