Here is a second method using the same materials. if you have your cross member higher then your length of a doubled bungy simply sling thru both holes with one end of the bungy and then wrap around the cross member the till you reach the desired tension of pull on your main vine. the beauty of the whole system is your always working ahead of the fruit growth. your proactively putting some upward tension on the vine so your stem never sees any weight and your stems stays pretty darn straight.
