now of course this would normally be erected about 12 inches back from the main vine in the general area where you would want to support a vine near a fruit BUT for displayings purposes we will do it out in the open for all to see exactly how we do it. Here Marc drives Post #1 which is a 1x3 4 foot long. Drive tool is made so the wood doesn't split up from driving it in and a point is cut on one end to ease in the driving of the post. 1x3 works better then the 1X2 as it gives it more surface area and doesn't pull sideways in the ground as easily.
