Once again these plants amaze me.
The 1073 was bent in half and twisted almost 90 degrees in the wind night before last. When I got home tonight it has righted itself, grew about 4 inches, sent down a couple of tap roots at leaf nodes and shows no sign of wilt or stress at all. I inspected the crack really closely and it looks like it might actually be scarring over. I decided to get a second opinion and asked Doc Liggett to look at it. He thinks it will be fine. The back up is already in, so it gets a few more days to show me it really means it.
