The hot pepper plants which were started back at the end of January-beginning Feb, are finally in their greenhouse home. Started them earlier than I did last year, as I found they were slower to grow than I had expected. The slow growth was likely partially attributed to the CFL I used to grow them. Last year I didn't want to have them under the CFL for long so I started them sometime in March, however I found it actually works good on these plants as they stay real stocky, and don't get leggy at all like most plants would. Growth is likely slower because of the CFL, but thats not necessarily a bad thing when growing them inside, makes them easy to deal with. Because of this I started them alot earlier this time and they've done great the past few months.
