And of course, I must grow my own seed, the 937 McCracken!!! This is the second one to germinate, in four days. I started a bunch of these for backups as well in case something from my starting lineup doesn't make it. All seeds were started Sunday, April 24th in a 3-to-1 mix of Pro Mix and composted bagged cow manure and mycorrhizae. I don't do all of that fancy filing and soaking of seeds that it seems like everyone does. They go in the soil, get watered and put on heat mats, that is it. They are seeds, if they are meant to germinate they will!
