Ok it seems like I managed to get the first entry correct. so here goes a little update on Team C&P.
Background info....C stands for Carlson (Dan) and P stands for Petersen (Marc). We grow 7 plants.....6 at my house and one at Marc's Mom's place. We teamed up way way back in 2004 and have been enjoying working together sharing the grind of this hobby ever since.
This diary will be our first (possibly last) effort to share some of our tech. and efforts on how and why we do what we do. This will be following one plant and one plant only. it will be revealed when we get it to germinate. Which, by the way, we have started to do or try to do today. SO the season has started as of 10:30 Am April 24th.
Our Basic soil prep consist of the following. Fall we add green manure from a local diary. Dewatered manure actually and then cover with Maple leaves and till. followed with more leaves covering the patch and let it rest. Tilled this spring once we added some peletized gypsum and a little humic. That is basically it at this stage.Good luck to all.
