This year we are going to turn the heaters off and open up the hoop houses at first light in the morning.
When plants are growing they tend to stretch in the morning due to the high amount of “Red Light”, if you cool the metabolism down in this period you will get a more compact plant with a stronger stem. So that’s what were after, a really strong compact plant that will stay in the hoop house for a little longer than usual
