I just got back from my holiday and I can’t wait until we sow the pumpkins on the 7th April. Stuart is out of action for the next few months as his knee operation didn’t go quite to plan. He’s getting this years programme for feeding and P&D control sorted out and I hope he can join me in the patch soon. The onions look very good at the moment but I’m not convinced that I’m in control of the crop and feel I need more grow years under my belt. When you see all 15 onions, check out numbers,4,5,6,7,14,15, these six plants are closest to the CO2 and on the whole are the biggest so there is work to do there for a start. Also I’m not sure I can keep the temps down in the summer to a level that I would like. Don’t get me wrong I’ve done a lot already but I think I need to do a lot more.
