I moved my onions today from the Grow Chamber to the greenhouse floor , I placed the T5 Lightwave light units above them as you can see here, I have also included a shot of my onion plants in my Chamber just before I moved them, they are exactly 8 weeks from sowing and I think they are excellent really. They were growing so large I really needed to move them into the greenhouse environment so they become accustomed to the different growing environment. The night temperature will drop to below 50f - 10c but it will not harm them .
The natural light now is starting to get much better so thats another reason I moved them. They will continue to receive 9.5 hours of lights from 8 am to 5.30 pm off the T5 Light Wave fluorescent tubes.
