Here is my big one that got away this year on Aug 31st, 1103 Bosworth '10 DMG ( 1450 Wallace x 1161 Rodonis)
It was one of the fastest growers I had this year that could have had a chance of being a really big pumpkin. It measured 364 Ott Aug 31st which made it 9% Heavy. It ended up with a small pin hole in the rib line. And by looking at the picture you will see alot of rib lines in that pumpkin!,,ha!
Each leaf node had a total of 4 roots growing from it, 2 at the top of the vine and 2 at the bottom of the main vine , and the Secondaries also the same way. Ive seen this happen before on a few plants on a node here and there , but never have I seen a root system grow like this 1450 produced. Im just praying it carries over these genes!,,lol
