My daughter Sydney was home from University this weekend for Thanksgiving and allowed a picture with her ole pops in the pumpkin patch.
The 993.2 pumpkin is at day 98 today and is still slowly putting on inches (well 1/2 inch at a time) and now sits at 140-96-91 or roughly estimated at 736 lbs.
It has done slightly over 1.5 lbs per day during October so far, and will get harvested this coming Saturday for the voyage over to Nanaimo on Vancouver Island. There are quite a few Mainlanders that are making the trek over to the Island for British Columbia's premier weigh-off....should be fun!!
