things have settled back down and the hoopalla has come to rest. what an exciting week of shazzy pub on every major chicago tv network news, a story and pic in the sun times paper, and our local paper the joliet herald front page and nice story. pretty cool stuff. took some pics today of the pumpkin i intend to grow a seed from if viable. the 1209 shenoha 2010. with this pumpkin going 20% heavy and crossed with the 414" shell genetics from the 991 plant that produced my 1493, this cross could do some nice things. my intention is to cross into this cross some super shell genetics like the 1725 has produced. this will hopefully add a more rounder shape to go with the huge 200 + " circ and hopefully the heavy gene will remain dominant too. get a 420" ott at close to 20% heavy equal 1855 lbs. so what the hell, i will give the 1209 shenoha 2010 a run in 2011 and see what it does. a 1209, 991, 1725 line up would be nice. 1209 x 1725, 1725 x 1209, 991 x 1209. yep the mind is spinning already. 2011 has begun!!!!!!!
